Day 5….
Austin TX! Just woke up from a nap, now I’m debating going to the bars and confusing the locals for entertainment or staying in and sleeping more.
(the black stuff across my nose is a small cloud of fake freckles, smeared from le nap)

I made it into Austin this morning just in time to see the sun rise. No pictures unfortunately but in the future there will be sunset/sunrise imagery for sure. The landscape and atmosphere reminds me more of Arizona that it makes my heart ache a little… almost there! :D
I think the most exciting part of today was that I was able to take a shower. (God that was heavenly) Other than that excitement we went to Curra’s Grill in downtown Austin. Such delicious salsa they give you, and the chips are like crack. I had the Enchiladas, I was surprised to find that they have so many options for the filling and the sauce over top that it was almost insta-overload, but I managed to go with chicken filled with a chipotle sauce. I ate most of it and almost passed out from satisfaction right there in the restaurant.
Then we visited an antique shop of sorts called Uncommon Objects, where I found a variety of trinkets that I adored but settled in the end with a small ancient key.

If you know what it goes to I could use some direction but I think I’m going to research it. I guess an old jewelry box. I’ll let you know of course when I do find out.
Now… about going to that bar….
